When Anxiety Makes Everything Feel Like Too Much
You’re holding so much—work, family, mental checklists, invisible expectations—and on the outside, you look like you’re managing. But inside? You’re unraveling.
Maybe you’re tired of second-guessing every decision.
Maybe you feel like you're constantly “on” with no time to rest.
Maybe you can’t remember the last time you felt truly present—with your partner, your kids, or yourself.
If you’ve been wondering:
“Is it supposed to feel this hard all the time?”
You’re not alone. And therapy can help.
Therapy for the Overwhelmed, Anxious, and High-Achieving
Hi, I’m Brittany Deutch (she/her), LPC, ATR-BC. I work with overwhelmed women and LGBTQ+ folks who are used to keeping it all together—for everyone but themselves.
Many of my clients are people-pleasers, perfectionists, and caretakers. They’ve spent years doing what they should be doing, often at the expense of what they truly want. And now? The anxiety is louder than ever.
You might relate to thoughts like:
“If I slow down, something will fall apart.”
“I can’t ask for help—I should be able to handle this.”
“What if I’m letting everyone down?”
Anxiety doesn’t always look like panic attacks. Sometimes it looks like irritability, numbing out with your phone, or waking up at 3am running through your to-do list.
Sometimes it’s just a heavy sense of not enoughness—no matter how much you do.
My Approach: Warm, Human, and Gently Challenging
Therapy with me is a space to finally stop performing.
To stop pushing down what you really feel.
To stop trying to “fix” yourself and start reconnecting with who you are.
I bring my full, authentic self into the room so you can too. I’ll hold space for the hard things and gently challenge you when old patterns are keeping you stuck. We’ll get curious together—about the thoughts, beliefs, and coping strategies that helped you survive, and whether they still serve you today.
You don’t have to do this alone. We’ll slow things down so you can:
Understand what’s really fueling your anxiety
Recognize your needs without guilt
Build boundaries that protect your energy
Learn to trust your inner voice again
"But I Don’t Have Time For Therapy”
I hear this a lot.
When life already feels like too much, adding one more thing can feel impossible.
But what if one hour a week could create the space you need to breathe again?
Therapy isn’t selfish. It’s the foundation that helps you show up more fully—for your loved ones, and for yourself. And with telehealth sessions, you can access support without commuting or rearranging your entire day.

Let’s Change the Narrative
What if you didn’t have to carry it all alone?
What if rest wasn’t earned by exhaustion?
What if saying “no” didn’t come with guilt?
Together, we’ll explore these questions—and start building a life that feels good to live, not just one you survive.

Trauma
Healing from trauma is like piecing together a shattered mirror, reflecting not just the scars but the strength that's emerged from the journey. Together, we can create a space to look at those pieces, find a clarity on how they continue to impact us, and rediscover the beauty that's always been within.
